The gun is complete with no cracks or other problems with the wood. Screws are in good shape with little sign of abuse. I have a Winchester letter with it showing the rifle made in 1886. The front sight is a frontier fixed blade in the original base. The caliber mark is easily read on both the barrel and brass elevator. The bore is in decent shape showing good signs of rifling, not as dark as most .22 rifles I have seen.
